I still view this as the strongest fight in the series though next to Birdy and Violin vs the Berserker units. I would definitely agree that they rushed some parts of the animation and might actually agree that this is the weakest fight in terms of animation quality, so long as we're talking strictly about key frames and in betweens. And she still chose to wear short shorts in the middle of winter.Īnd now that Decode is all over I have to say SEASON 3 WHEN A1, GET ON IT! I also noticed that this is the first time Birdy wore anything other than her pink jacket this entire season. It added just that little extra feel of intensity that I just loved. If Birdy were to win and kill Nataru she loses the closest person to her and if Nataru defeats Birdy he will have no one to stop his rampage and become too far gone to ever be saved. The other reasons is the lack of a clear winner throughout the Birdy vs Nataru fight. Incredibly fast paced, extremely well-choreographed, and plenty of creativity and ingenuity sprinkled throughout to keep it very fun to watch. One is because it has 2 of the best fights not just in this series but in the medium. It was basically a look into what they mean to each other and it was a rather clever way of doing it.Īnyways this is my favorite episode for 2 reasons. Also the times that they did it fit into the color schemes I was talking about in a previous thread where Nataru was talking during a bright yellow sunset and Birdy was talking during a nice blue moon. I thought Birdy and Violin having a talk in the same place Nataru and Dusk did was a nice call back. I also want to point out that they showed Nataru go back to the Central Tower attack in episode 2Īnd my final gif for the Decode series _ If you were wondering what the theme of the series is here you go I chose not to make 100 different Gifs of Birdy vs Nataru so here's the full fight Dub, Sub
